Vivian Corrine Gunder, 77, of Sacramento, Ca. was returned to the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2014 while she slept. Mrs. Gunder was born on May 12, 1937 in Bristol, Indiana, a daughter of Dorsey A. and Nila Jean (Hartman) Arnold. On February 11, 1956 she was married in Albion to Paul K. Gunder, the couple spent their married life raising their family in Albion. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1998. She was employed at Dana Corp., and retired in 1999 after 30 years. Vivian Moved to Sacramento, Ca in the summer of 2004 to live the rest of her life. She loved being a "California girl" but also enjoyed staying in Parker, Co. where she spent time in the summers. She loved spending time with family, animals, eating, and watching the Sacramento Kings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The surviving relatives include two daughters, Brenda Gunder of Sacramento, CA, and Vicky (Greg) Lym of Parker, CO; a son, Randy (Dawn) Gunder of Albion; two brothers, Richard Arnold of Angleton, TX, and Douglas Arnold of Churubusco; her grandchildren, Josh (Arian) Gunder and Emily (Justin) Coney; great grandchildren Taya and Teagan Coney and Owen Gunder all of Albion; three nieces and two nephews; not to be forgotten her babies, two dogs and several cats who will miss her greatly. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cindy Gunder and sister Judy Arnold. Funeral services will be held at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul White, officiating. The family will receive friends at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home Friday from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the service. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier. For those who wish, memorials may be directed to any SPCA or charity of the donor's choice. ****************************
