Vivian G. Rollins, 87, of Churubusco, passed away at 8:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Miller's Merry Manor at Oak Pointe. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, on September 6, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Eccles) Harding. She spent her formative years in Canada. Vivian was married on August 5, 1950, to Ross E. Rollins. He preceded her in death in October of 1999. The couple raised their two kids in Churubusco. She worked at Pat's Cafe in Churubusco from 1962-1970. She then worked as a nurse's aide at the Byron Heath Center from 1970 to her retirement in 1983. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being outside, knitting, reading, and her cats. Vivian is survived by her son, Michael Rollins of Tucson Az.; her daughter, Debra (Daryl) Pott of Churubusco; a sister, Joyce Lang; a brother, Gordon Harding; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband and parents; four sisters and a brother. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the service. Services will begin at 10:00 AM, at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Monday, July 9, 2018. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Allen County.
