Walter Bower

Walter L. Bower, 74, a resident of rural Churubusco in Allen County, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012. Mr. Bower was born in Fort Wayne on April 15, 1938, a son of Charles N. and Martha Lois (Jackson) Bower, and graduated from Huntertown High School in 1956.e He was a U. S. Army veteran, and retired from Peter Eckrich & Sons in Fort Wayne. Survivinge are two sisters Nancy (Jerry) Parish of Churubusco and Janet Gross of San Bernardino, Calif; and a brother Richard Bower of Indianapolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bruce Bower. Private graveside services will be held at the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Merriam with Rev. David Biberstein, associate pastor of Pathway Community Church, officiating.e Interment will follow. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours.
