Warren Deck

Warren Dean Deck, 72, of Churubusco, passed away on July 6, 2019, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Wolf Lake, on April 28, 1947, to Warren and Hilda (Roche) Deck Sr. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from Churubusco High School in 1965. After high school, he served in the United States Navy. Warren married Linda (Schwietzer) Ford on March 11, 2011. He was a life member of the Churubusco VFW post #3846 and the American Legion Post #157. Warren is survived by his wife, Linda Deck; step-daughter, April Miller; a step-son, Don Boseker; brothers, Ronald (Nicolette) Deck and David (Mary Ann) Deck; sisters, Rosemarie Morgan, Katherine (Paul) Leazier and Gloria (Jerry) Addis; grandsons, Ben Boseker and Chet Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents; a step-son, Chris Boseker; three brothers, Keith, Robert and Dennis Deck; a sister, Sharon Deck. Calling will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2019, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 8:00 PM. Calling also one hour prior to the mass on Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 AM, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church on Friday, July 12, 2019.
