William Blessing

William "Bill" J. Blessing, 56, of Churubusco, passed away on February 22, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne, on December 22, 1963, to the late Larry and Thelma (Gordon) Blessing. He spent his formative years in Churubusco and attended Churubusco High School. Bill was married to Cindy Fryback in Churubusco, on March 6, 2016. He worked at Master Spas before retiring from Pro Strip after 10 years. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, visits from his friends and neighbors, fishing and his big gardens. Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy Blessing; step-dad, Fred Francis; four children, Marcus, Ty, Dillon and Kelli Blessing; five step-children, Sabrina and Startina Warner, April Speakman, Tabbi Lers and Aaron (Monique) Lers; two sisters, Cindy Wheeler and Diane Blessing; a brother, Gary (Cheryl) Blessing; 17 grandchildren In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by a son, William Blessing, Jr. A celebration of life service will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family.
