Zachary Nolan

March 12, 1997 — September 1, 2024

Zachary Grant Nolan, 27, of Churubusco, passed away on September 1, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1997, in Fort Wayne, to Larry and Jeanne (Fisher) Nolan. Zachary was a beloved son, father, and companion. He was a resident of Churubusco. He never married but was in a loving companionship with Bernadette Wyss and shared two beautiful children with her whom he loved dearly, Audrey and Leland Nolan. Zachary was a manager at Heroes Family Bistro & Pub. He also worked as a crew leader and excavator at Wigent in Columbia City and did well drilling with G&K, to name a few. He was passionate about his work and was known for his dedication. In his leisure time, he enjoyed working on trucks and always had a soft spot for music, singing along whether he actually knew the words or not. But what mattered the most to him was playing with his kids, and being with his friends and the people he loved most. He also loved dogs, all dogs, but particularly his pride and joy, Sam and Loki. Zachary was a devoted father, a treasured friend, and a beloved son. He loved driving and always tried to beat the time on the GPS or find a better way. He never knew a stranger. He was very social and genuine, and all will deeply miss his vibrant personality. Zachary leaves behind his father, Larry Nolan; his mother, Jeanne Nolan; his daughter, Audrey Susan Nolan; his son, Leland Milton Grant Nolan; and his loving companion, Bernadette Wyss. A private service will be held at a date. Memorials may be directed to Sheets & Childs Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. If you would like to donate please contact the funeral home directly. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
